Today was so bizarre. No. Queer. I don't mean queer as in alternative lifestyles. I mean peculiar-queer. The weather is so strange. The day changed from beautiful, clear sunshine to weird, muted, dust-masked light. Alex called it yellow. I think it was more brown... it made the world look like a sepia-toned photograph.
And when I looked out the window, before I could stop myself, I thought: "This be tornado weather."
Get me a little dog in a basket and a crisp, blue-and-white checked frock.
